Hello, my dear friends and fellow travelers, how are you all holding up as you explore your mental landscapes and traverse the complex trails of making changes and improvements in your lives? I know many of you are out there struggling, sick and tired, exhausted and feeling alone. I know you're doing the best that you can. This is Albert, and I felt compelled to put out a short personal message to empower and encourage you to make this year truly yours. As we recognize Mental Health Awareness Month, it's essential to remember that every day should be dedicated to prioritizing our mental health. Mental health is a crucial part of the umbrella that is our overall health, and it's time we give it the attention it deserves, of the umbrella that is our overall health, and it's time we give it the attention it deserves. So if you're listening to this right now and if you've been feeling stuck, find yourself constantly complaining about the same problems month after month, year after year, it's time for a change. You have a choice. You have to believe that, because you do, you can choose to process your life situations instead of just complaining about them. Complaining is dangerous. It cultivates resentment and keeps you trapped in a cycle of negativity, and strengthens your circumstances and its power over you. Choose to take back your power, because you are not powerless. Imagine making today your someday. Imagine deciding that today is day one of a new chapter. It's time to stop living your pain and suffering on repeat. Choose to leave behind what no longer serves you. This might mean letting go of certain thoughts, habits, people or beliefs. Choose to get help. Choose to build your tribe. Choose to build you up. Choose change. Choose to be the best you can be, because the best you can be is all you got. Choose to stop selling yourself short. Choose today. You all have a higher version of yourself waiting to be discovered. Stop overestimating your problems and underestimating your ability to overcome them. Change requires commitment. It means letting go and creating space for the new. What needs to come to an end for you? What do you need to let go of? Maybe it's the habit of people pleasing, or maybe it's getting out of your own way and embracing discomfort. Every experience you've had, every challenge you've faced, is building you, not breaking you. Did you hear that? Your problems, your pain, your suffering, your life challenges, your trials and tribulations? They are here to build you, not to break you. Believe that you are made for more. You deserve more. Your choices need to line up with your values. Stop choosing the wrong things and expecting the right things to happen.
Speaker 1:I want you all to aim for a virtuous life and do good in the world because you're in it. Your existence is more powerful than you can even imagine. You have impact. Define for yourself what the highest good is for you. Let that be your guiding light. Be what you don't have. Be the miracle you need. This will show you quickly that you are valuable.
