Mindfulness is simple – and simplicity is key to a better life.

We, as human beings, tend to make things complicated. Mindfulness is a way for us to come back to NOW - back to simplicity.

Confucious said “Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated”

I started learning about mindfulness during a time when it was often made fun of - mindfulness was not socially "normal." Now, however, it is widely accepted and encouraged for all ages. Thanks to science and mainstream media, mindfulness is more and more commonplace.

So what's the problem? Why are we still not integrating it into our lives and basking in all of the benefits that comes from practicing mindfulness? Just like exercise and healthy eating, we know it's good for us, but we still struggle to beat the impulse of living in the comfort zones.

To be here in the moment and to be aware and be present takes practice.
